CHYULU HILLS NATIONAL PARK
Chyulu hills national park is a land of black frozen lava studded with blazing red-hot poker trees. It is located south east, close to the Tsavo West National Park. The park is home to a variety of wildlife (although the diversity is not as spectacular as that found in other major Kenyan parks).
On a clear day, one can catch a glimpse of the elusive Mount Kilimanjaro peak to the west. The park comprises the eastern flanks of the Chyulu hills including about half the forested area.
